I first began documenting and producing wedding videos in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988. At that time my business name was C U Dude Video Productions-specializing in highlight videos of amateur NHRA competitors at Baylands Raceway in Fremont California. That's how I came up with the business name!
During the summer of '88, I had quite a few friends and family get married and was asked to film their weddings. From there it was those individuals who referred me to other clients and the rest is history. I truly found a passion and hobby that would soon turn into a full time creative outlet. I filmed weddings and other events on the weekends while employed at United Airlines from 1986 until 2006. I was able to work with the UAL Media Department and help them produce safety videos for the company.
In 2003, my family and I moved from the Bay Area to Cameron Park in El Dorado County and that is when I changed my business name to Bonetti Videography.
I really have enjoyed living in the Sierra foothills and meeting local professional wedding vendors in the Sacramento Region. I am currently a member of the Sacramento Professional Videographer's Association(SPVA), and also belong to the Association for Wedding Professionals international (AfWPi), plus I advertise in the Sacramento Bride & Groom & The Perfect Wedding Guide magazines. Although weddings have been my main creative outlet, I stay actively involved in my community. I am a member of the Cameron Park/Shingle Springs Chamber of Commerce and also work with Holy Trinity Parish & School in El Dorado Hills documenting their special events throughout the year. I occasionally volunteer my services to organizations such as Cancer Schmancer (Make Time for You) and am proud to be active in charity golf tournaments for the Me One Foundation,The Pink Ribbon Classic, and The Kidder Classic.
I've been married for the past 22 years to Kimberlee (Rinaldi) Bonetti, and we have a son, Anthony.
